The EKI-8712G-4XFPI-AE is particularly suitable for deploying industrial networks requiring both numerous PoE devices and high-speed uplinks.

Its 8 Gigabit PoE ports allow connecting and powering field devices, while its 4 10G SFP+ ports can form a fiber network, inter-switch links, or SHR.

Static routing, NAT, VLAN, multicast management, and QoS simplify the segmentation and prioritization of traffic between machines, production cells, and the central network.

For accelerated deployment, it integrates the IXM function, a DIN-rail or wall-mounted installation, and various remote administration tools such as SNMP, Web, NMS, SSH, and Modbus/TCP. The X-Ring Pro, ERPS, RSTP, MSTP, and STP protocols ensure network continuity in case of link failure.
