SDI-12-LB SDI12 Converter (serial digital interface) to LoRaWAN for smart agriculture
The SDI-12-LB is an SDI-12 to LoRaWAN converter designed to connect environmental sensors (irrigation, weather, soil, etc.) to long-range wireless LPWAN networks. It converts SDI-12 sensor data into standardized LoRaWAN frames (LoRaWAN 1.0.3 Class A), enabling secure and low-power transmission to IoT cloud platforms via compatible gateways.
Equipped with an 8,500 mAh Li-SoCi2 battery, a waterproof casing, and an SDI-12 port with integrated power supply for sensors (12 V), the SDI-12-LB is designed for robust outdoor installation, with autonomy for several years. It is configurable via Bluetooth (BLE) and supports OTA updates. Compatible with major LoRa bands (EU868, US915, AU915, etc.), it allows multiple sampling with combined sending to reduce consumption.
The SDI-12-LB model is designed for long-range IoT deployments requiring a robust, autonomous, and ultra-low power LoRa SDI-12 integrator, particularly in the context of connected agriculture projects, environmental monitoring, or natural resource management.
