MDS200 LoRaWAN Microwave Radar Distance Sensor

The MDS200 is a 24GHz microwave radar distance sensor. Unlike ultrasonic or LiDAR technologies, it’s highly suitable for harsh environments (condensation, dust, humidity) thanks to its ability to measure distance even when water or dust covers the sensor. It wirelessly transmits data via LoRaWAN, NB-IoT or LTE-M (CAT-M1), enabling integration into various applications such as horizontal distance measurement, parking management systems, presence detection, smart trash bin management, robot obstacle avoidance, and sewer monitoring. The MDS200 supports Bluetooth (BLE) configuration and OTA updates. It’s designed for long-term operation using either a Li-SOCI2 battery or solar power.
