CIFX 50E-CO PCIe CANOpen Card
The CIFX 50E-CO card is a PCI Express expansion card developed by Hilscher to add a CANopen interface to industrial PC systems. It uses the netX 100 controller to manage real-time communications without burdening the host processor. It supports master or slave roles, depending on the installed firmware, allowing it to adapt to different network topologies.
Data is exchanged with the host via a dual-port memory or by DMA. The unified cifX software API simplifies integration into automation software. A rotary switch allows a unique identifier to be set for the card. Drivers are available for major industrial operating systems.
