DockInfinity-E4X1 PCIe 3.0 x4/PCIe x1 Card Extension Enclosure for NDiS B340

The DockInfinity-E4X1 from NEXCOM is an extension enclosure designed to enhance the connectivity options of the Edge PC NDiS B340. It houses a half-length PCIe 3.0 x4 card, supporting PCIe x1 cards, to add network interfaces, USB, video capture, or PoE cards according to installation needs.

When paired with the NDiS B340, it allows a computer station to be adapted to the demands of connected logistics: connect additional barcode readers with a USB card, connect compatible cameras with a PoE Ethernet card, or integrate a capture card for package inspection. These configurations can support identification, visual control, and traceability operations on preparation stations or sorting lines, with suitable peripherals and software.

Thus, the DockInfinity-E4X1 complements the 2.5 GbE Ethernet and serial RS-232/422/485 interfaces of the NDiS B340. Adding an IEEE 802.3af compatible PoE card allows data and power to be transmitted over the same Ethernet cable, with an advertised power of 15.4 W per port. Additional interfaces depend on the installed card: the enclosure offers a slot to evolve the station's connectivity without replacing the PC.
