EKI-1528D-I1A Industrial Gateway Series x8 COM Ports with 2x Gbit LAN Redundancy
The EKI-1528D-I1A is a secure industrial serial device server that allows connection of up to 8 RS-232, RS-422, or RS-485 equipment to an Ethernet network. It specifically meets the needs of modernizing existing installations whose equipment does not natively have a network interface.
Its Virtual COM, TCP/UDP Server, TCP/UDP Client, RFC2217, and Pair Connection modes enable remote access to serial equipment or establish transparent serial links over the network. Its two independent Gigabit Ethernet ports ensure network redundancy, while its compact format is suitable for installations without space in a 19-inch rack.
Compliant with the IEC 62443-4-2 standard, it also offers secure communications, centralized authentication, and an extended operating range from -40 to 80°C.
